Chiropractic care is…
a type of healthcare that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. It is a non-invasive and drug-free approach that uses a variety of techniques to promote healing and improve overall function.
One of the primary goals of chiropractic care is acute and chronic pain management. Chiropractors use a combination of techniques to help alleviate pain and discomfort caused by musculoskeletal injuries, such as sprains, strains, and fractures. This can include spinal joint manipulation, which is performed manually and involves applying a controlled force to restricted joints to improve mobility and reduce pain.
Another technique commonly used in chiropractic care is soft tissue therapy. This technique involves the use of Muscle Release Technique (MRT) to treat tight muscles and improve range of motion. MRT involves the application of pressure to specific points on the body, which helps to release tension and improve circulation.
In addition to these techniques, chiropractors may also provide targeted stretches and exercises to help prevent future injuries. These exercises are designed to improve strength and flexibility, which can reduce the risk of further injury and improve overall function.

Chiropractor

Dr. Nicolas Graham, BASc. Kin, D.C., CHIROPRACTOR
As a Doctor of Chiropractic graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), Dr. Graham is an expert in the conservative management of musculoskeletal health with the knowledge and skills to effectively diagnose and treat biomechanical dysfunctions related to the spinal joints, upper/lower limb joints, muscles, and the nervous system. Joints can develop restrictions, these restrictions can cause tension in the muscles, irritation to nerves, decreased range of motion, and pain. Chiropractic care is effective at helping ease joint restrictions and improving all of the above. This will allow you to get back to doing what you love and functioning at your optimal health.
Dr. Graham is proficient in but not limited to the evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic; neck pain, headaches, upper back pain, lower back pain, sacroiliac joint pain, upper/lower limb pain, osteoarthritis, muscle strains / ligament sprains. He uses education, exercise prescription, manipulation (adjustments), mobilizations, soft tissue therapies, laser therapy, and custom orthotics to treat his patients. Dr. Graham emphasizes the importance of collaborative health care and differential diagnosis meaning that if he thinks you need another provider involved in your health care a referral will be made.
Dr. Graham enjoys spending time with his wife, staying active outdoors, playing guitar, and loves camping and fishing.
Rehabilitative
Laser Therapy
uses low-level laser light to promote healing and reduce pain. It is a non-invasive and drug-free approach that can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, and inflammatory conditions.
During a rehabilitative laser therapy session, a low-level laser is applied to the affected area of the body. The laser emits a low-intensity light that is absorbed by the cells in the body’s tissues. This light energy is then converted into biochemical energy, which helps to stimulate cellular repair and regeneration.
TENS Machine
Our Chiropractor At Vibrant Healing now uses the Chattanooga Theta TENS/NMES Device to treatments!
This device can be used for many different aspects of rehabilitation including the following:
• Preventing muscle wasting
• Increasing range of motion
• Relaxation of muscle spasms
• Increasing local blood circulation
• Relief of Acute or Chronic pain including arthritis
• Post-Surgical Rehab or Post Trauma pain relief
• Reduction of edema (swelling)
• Facilitation of voluntary muscle function
Custom Orthotics
The primary goal of custom orthotics is to restore the normal balance and alignment of the body. When there is a problem with the way the foot functions, it can cause abnormal forces to be placed on other parts of the body, such as the ankles, knees, hips, and spine. These abnormal forces can result in pain, discomfort, and even injury over time. Custom orthotics are designed to correct faulty foot mechanics and reduce the symptoms associated with these abnormal forces.
