Meet Our Chiropractors
Dr. Kiran Cheema B.Sc, D.C.
Dr. Kiran Cheema has been a part of the Vibrant Healing team since 2014. As a chiropractor she is able to assess, diagnose and treat mechanical disorders of joints, muscles and nerves. Her main treatment goals are to restore the natural movement of any restricted joints and tight muscles as well as restore the natural function of the nerves.
When the joint is not able to move correctly it can cause the muscles around it to spasm which effects the nerves in the area and causes pain. Chiropractors are able to restore the natural movement of the joint and help the muscles in the area to relax which returns them to a normal pain free state.
After a chiropractic treatment the patient usually experiences decreased pain, increased range of motion, improved posture and improved performance of daily activities.
Some of the conditions she is able to treat include but are not limited to acute and chronic conditions of neck pain, upper back pain, lower back pain, sciatica pain, muscle strains and sprains, muscle trigger points, carpal tunnel syndrome, sacroiliac joint pain, tendonitis, rotator cuff pain, headaches and plantar fasciitis.
The treatment methods that can be used to treat these condition include chiropractic adjustments, activator assisted adjustments, mobilizations, acupuncture, laser therapy, cupping treatments, active release therapy – ART and custom orthotics.
